The Green Earth "Climate Change & Low-Carbon Living" Free Talk
CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, in collaboration with The Green Earth and Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited, is pleased to invite you to participate in the “CLP Climate Ambassadors Programme 2025” podcast competition, encouraging students to raise awareness about climate change through creative podcast production.
The Green Earth will provide climate change and low-carbon living school talks to the first 30 schools that successfully registered, to inspire students to take action and promote a sustainable and low-carbon lifestyle. The talk will cover topics on climate change, its impact on global and local environments, as well as daily life, Hong Kong’s main carbon reduction strategies, how individuals can reduce their carbon footprint, green energy and sustainable transportation
The CLP Climate Ambassadors Programme encourages students to creatively express their views, knowledge, and insights about climate change through podcast programme. Winning teams will receive prizes, and their award-winning podcasts may have the chance to be aired on Metro Info!
Programme Overview:
Themes | 1.Climate Change, 2. Low-Carbon Living 3. Renewable Energy |
Eligibility | Primary schools in CLP’s supply area (Kowloon, the New Territories, and most outlying islands) may enter up to 5 teams of 2–5 students from Primary 3 to 6. All participants must register through their schools. |
Submission Requirements | A 3-5 minute podcast programme. The language may be Cantonese, Mandarin, or English, and the content must be original. |
Awards | Each school and team member will receive an e-certificate. Awards include Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners-up, Merit, and special prizes such as Most Innovative, Best Teamwork, and Best Host. Winners will receive trophies and book vouchers. |

Competition Briefing & Professional Broadcasting Training Workshop | Registered teams are invited to attend the competition briefing and professional broadcasting training workshop organised by Metro Broadcast. The workshop will be hosted by a professional DJ or radio producer to enhance students skills in podcast content creation, voice expression, and recording. |
