The Hong Kong government and AI-related businesses must reduce our carbon footprint by enhancing the energy and water efficiency of data centres. We must mandate power usage effectiveness (PUE) standards for existing and coming data centres. Mandatory disclosure of PUE will drive improvements in performance.
（2025 年 2 月 21 日 評論）近年氣候變化越來越來嚴重，按香港政府的資料，建築物佔全港用電量約90%，逾60%的碳排放來自建築物耗能相關的電力生產，因此建築物的節能工作是城市舒緩氣候變化的重要舉措。政府倡導節能多年，2022年的《施政報告》主動提出要以2018-19年作基準，在2024-25年度提升政府建築物的「整體能源表現」6%。「節能期」行將屆滿，到底節能情況為何？
